As a courtesy, we want to inform you that Outlook and Hotmail have been mistakenly sending some of your emails to your Junk/Spam folder, and you may be missing out on important information from your inbox.
Some users of the Edison Mail app have pointed out this glitch. Please note that the Outlook and Hotmail inbox glitch might also inhibit your ability to track, manage, and see the details of your emails at a glance (e.g. receipts, packages, etc.)
If you think you’ve been missing some emails, you should check the Junk folder in your Outlook or Hotmail desktop app and mark it as ‘Not Junk’ following the directions here or below:
- Open your Junk Email folder and select the messages you want to keep.
- From the top toolbar, select Not junk > Not junk (or Not spam > Not spam). You can also open the message and select the It's not junk link at the top.
- If you've blocked someone by mistake, open your Blocked senders list and select the Remove next to their name.
- Add the sender to your Safe senders list.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at mailsupport@edison.tech!
We hope this is helpful for you to have the best experience possible in your inbox.
