If you aren't receiving notifications, please follow these steps to resolve your issue:
iOS Users:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap "Notifications"
- Scroll down and tap on "Email"
- Ensure that you have "Allow Notifications" enabled
- Go back to the home screen of your Settings app
- Tap on "General"
- Tap on "Background App Refresh"
- Ensure that it is enabled for "Email"
- Close the Settings app and open the Edison Mail app
- Tap the menu icon in the top left
- Tap the "Settings button in the bottom left
- Tap "Notifications"
- Ensure that you have the notifications you would like to receive enabled.
- You can also change the notification sound by clicking on "Notification Sound"
Android Users:
It's possible you have a battery saving feature/mode enabled on your device which may be inhibiting these notifications. You can read more about these features here and here. If you've verified that these aren't enabled on your device, please check to make sure you have the Google services framework installed.
