To keep our services free for you to use, we collect and store information from commercial messages such as promotions and receipts. We remove any information that identifies you personally (emails, names, addresses), and use it for research about e-commerce trends for businesses that purchase our Trends product. You control what data Edison can collect and store, with options to delete your data or to opt-out of our Trends product. Opting out of data sharing won't change/degrade the app experience or limit features – the app will continue to function as normal. To review your choices and controls, visit our privacy policy.
If you wish to opt-out of data sharing, please follow the steps below:
Mobile:
- Open Edison Mail
- From the app menu, tap Settings
- Tap Manage Privacy
- Tap Edison Trends Consent Settings
- Tap Opt out of Edison Trends
Desktop:
- Open Edison Mail
- Tap Email (located next to the File menu)
- Tap Settings
- Tap the Privacy tab
- Tap Edison Trends Consent Settings
- Tap Opt out of Edison Trends
If you wish to delete stored data all together
Mobile:
- Open Edison Mail
- From the app menu, tap Settings
- Tap Manage Privacy
- Tap Delete Data to delete your data from our servers entirely.
Desktop:
- Open Edison Mail
- Tap Email (located next to the File menu)
- Tap Settings
- Tap the Privacy tab
- Tap Delete Data to delete your data from our servers entirely.
