If you’re having trouble accessing your account, you’ll need to reset your password directly with your email provider.
Edison Mail is an email app, which means we don’t have access to your password, account details, or recovery settings, and we’re unable to reset your password or restore account access.
To regain access, go to your email provider’s website and use the “Forgot Password” option. Follow their steps to reset your password.
We've listed and linked some common email providers' password recovery information below, but if you do not see your provider listed, please reach out to them:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some providers, such as AOL, Gmail, and iCloud, may require special app-specific passwords to be generated for use with our app before you can connect it to Edison Mail. If you're having issues adding an account, please see the instructions below for your provider and try the steps they provide:

Update Your Password in Edison Mail
Once you’ve successfully reset your password, you’ll need to update it in the app by re-adding your account:
- Tap the menu (☰) icon
- Go to Settings
- Select your account
- Tap Log Out and confirm
- Go back and tap Add Account
- Sign in again using your new password
